Illuminate Maharashtra with Solar Energy

MSEDCL Invites You to a Sustainable Future!

Ever wondered what it takes to illuminate an entire state with the brilliance of solar energy? Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) is extending a heartfelt invitation to contribute to a brighter, sustainable future!

Key Takeaways

1. Game-Changing Initiative by MSAPL: MSEB Solar Agro Power (MSAPL), a dynamic subsidiary, is leading an exciting initiative under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) program. As part of Component C, they aim to procure an impressive 231 MW of solar power. This effort is part of the second phase of the Mukhymantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana program, promising not just energy, but a commitment to progress.

2. Important Dates: Mark your calendars! The deadline for bid submissions is February 27, 2024.

3. How to Join: To participate in this green revolution, bidders need to submit ₹25,000/MW plus 18% GST as the tender cost. Additionally, ₹2,500/MW of the base capacity plus 18% GST and ₹100,000/MW as an earnest money deposit are required to seal the deal.

4. Additional Opportunities: MSEDCL is also exploring the possibility of purchasing an additional 242 MW, making this an opportunity of unprecedented scale.

5. Criteria for Success: Projects exceeding 200 MW need a solar capacity track record of 250 MW. For those below 200 MW, a track record of 100 MW will suffice. Bidders should be ready to provide details on commissioned projects, grid interconnection, procurer name, and commissioning month. Your net worth for the last three financial years should be at least ₹10 million. Foreign investment funds with assets over ₹10 billion are welcome too.

6. Continuing the Journey: In 2023, MSEB Agro Solar Power took a giant leap with nine tenders for 1.92 GW under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana. The journey continues, and Maharashtra is calling for your green expertise..
