Construction of CM Yogi’s Dream Noida Film City to Begin Soon

The much-anticipated construction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s dream project — the International Film City in Noida — is set to begin by the end of May or early June, marking a major milestone in Uttar Pradesh’s journey to become a leading entertainment and film production hub.

Planned in the Sector-21 area along the Yamuna Expressway under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), the project is designed to transform UP into a national and global destination for cinema, media, and tourism.

Developer and Pre-Construction Progress

The project developer, Bayview Projects LLP, led by renowned filmmaker Boney Kapoor, has completed nearly all pre-construction activities. With the geo-technical survey almost complete, and land leveling and site preparation underway, the company is expected to submit its building plan in the coming days. Once approved, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to lay the foundation stone to officially launch the construction phase.

3.Initial construction includes 13–14 state-of-the-art sound studios and a film institute spread over 3 lakh sq. metres

1. Developer: Bayview Projects LLP (owned by Boney Kapoor)

2. Revenue Share Bid: Highest gross revenue share at 18%

Timeline

1. Project to be executed in 3 phases over 8 years

2. Remaining 770 acres to be developed in Phase 2 and Phase 3

Transparency and Official Approvals

1. The master plan was approved on January 30

2. Concession agreement signed on June 27 last year

3. Right of way handed over to the developer on February 27
