The Construction Federation of India (CFI) has announced the election of Tata Projects MD & CEO Vinayak Pai as the President of its national council. This decision was made for a two-year term spanning FY25-FY26. Vinayak Pai brings a wealth of experience and leadership to this position, which is expected to drive significant advancements in the construction industry.
Alongside Vinayak Pai, other prominent leaders have been elected to key positions in the council. Akhil Gupta, Executive Director & CEO of Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Pvt. Ltd., will serve as Vice President. Priti Patel, Deputy Director of Patel Engineering Ltd., has been named Treasurer. Their combined expertise and vision are set to guide CFI towards achieving its strategic goals.

In addition to the new appointments, Ajit Gulabchand has been unanimously nominated as President Emeritus. This honorary title recognizes his significant contributions to the industry and CFI’s ongoing efforts to drive policy advocacy and foster collaboration between industry stakeholders and government agencies.
