The acquisition of an additional 3,418 hectares of land in the northern and southern parts of the proposed Noida International Airport is set to be completed in the next six months. Shailendra Bhatia, the Nodal Officer at Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL), made this announcement on Friday. This significant land acquisition marks a crucial step forward in the airport's development and future expansion plans.
NIAL, a UP government-controlled entity, is responsible for conducting the land acquisition for the airport's expansion. The concerted efforts of NIAL ensure that the necessary land is procured efficiently, paving the way for the airport's growth. With the planned expansion, Noida International Airport aims to enhance its capacity and infrastructure, positioning itself as a key player in the region's aviation sector.
