This manual will:-

Safety before and after operations

• Before startup, please put the roller on flat ground according to operation instructions; Fully understood all safety systems, regulations and notices of your work place, as well as local operation regulation of the work, such as signals, symbols, postures, signs and notices, etc.

• Before starting or first operating the roller, carefully read and masters all contents its operator is forbidden to drink, or take cordial and other drugs.

• When the roller is driven or operated on compacted pavement, its operator is forbidden to drink, or take cordial and other drugs.

• Check whether the fuel system has the leakage or not, and weather joint is fastened or not.

Maintenance safety

• Before repair and maintenance, it is necessary to put signs on the roller to indicate the roller is being repaired.

Engine nameplate gives detailed description of engine type, sequence number and engine specification When ordering spare parts, please give indication of engine sequence number, please refer to engine manual.

Operation of Roller with Diesel Engine

Before Startup

1. Check the oil levels of hydraulic oil tank and diesel tank.

2. Check the oil levels of hydraulic oil tank and diesel tank.

3. Check whether the reversing lever is set at neutral position or not

4. Whether nuts and bolts are fastened, and whether v belts and transmission chain are looser or not

5. Diesel engine throttle is advanced beyond neutral position

Startup

1. Turn open main power switch.(Pulled up)

2. Turn the start key to ON and turn on the engine.

3. Start working after engine is preheated for 5min.

Running and braking of Roller

1. Forwarding of roller: after pushing the reversing lever forwards, the engine will go forward.

2. Reversing of roller: after pulling back the reversing lever, the engine can be backed up.

3. Braking of roller, after setting the reversing lever at neutral position, the roller will stop running.

Vibration Operations

1. After turning the vibration switch of mr050, walking behind vibratory roller with double steel wheels to vibration, the roller will vibrate.

2. The roller stop vibration after turning the vibration switch to stop vibration.

Watering

According to different compaction demands, water or diesel oil filled in the sprinkler tank can be sprayed to wheels to prevent compacted materials from being glued to wheels, and the water content of compacted materials can be adjusted. Required flow can freely change through regulating sprinkler switch.

When roller is parked, if temperature drops below 0, water in the water in the water tank and sprinkler system can be drained.

Stop the Roller

1. After setting the reversing, lever at neutral position, the roller will stop running.

2. After the diesel throttle is down to the minimum, the diesel will be turned off.

3. Take out front wedge blocks of the roller and wedge its front and rear wheels with wedge blocks.

Dragging the Roller

1. The dragging distance of the roller is generally no more than 200m.

2. When the roller is dragged forwards, the reserving lever should be set at the forward gear, when the roller is dragged rearwards, the revising lever should be at the reverse gear
